KPH WebSDR - Point Reyes National Seashore

>>>>  CURRENTLY TESTING  -  EXPECT FREQUENT OUTAGES  <<<<

This WebSDR, located at the historical Point Reyes radio station KPH, is operated for the benefit of the amateur radio community - and anyone interested in HF radio communications.

For more information about the KPH historic site see:
  • The National Park Service web page here for the Point Reyes radio station.
  • The Maritime Radio History Museum link - The Marine Radio Historical Society (MRHS) is an organization dedicated to the preservation of this site.

This server's receiver is connected to a TCI-530 Omnidirectional antenna - a 94 foot (29 meter) tall mast with a maze of wires, capable of reception across the entire HF spectrum.

At present this server is being operated experimentally, using a single GPS-referenced RX-888(Mk2) SDR for reception on all bands and is subject to occasional restarts and reconfiguration.  As it is still undergoing testing, frequency labels, etc. are not yet fully-implemented.

More information about the WebSDR project in general can be found on http://www.websdr.org.  For questions about this WebSDR contact:  rob ( at ) robinett . us
